Are you a chick with one or more sticks?
If you're a knitter, crocheter or other needle craftsperson (and you could be a dude, not a chick, if you wished), please consider visiting us on most Wednesday evenings, when we open the store until around 8:30 for a relaxing round or two of conversational stitching known as Chicks with Sticks. Make new friends, see old friends, and get help if you are stuck on something! There's lots of fun for everyone! If in doubt, phone the shop to make sure we're meeting, but we'll be here most Wednesdays this summer.
As the photo shows, we have a wide range of ages and stitching stages represented each week--all are welcome!

I am looking for someone who can knit two Christmas stockings for me that will be compatible with stockings I already have. As best I, a non-knitter, can tell the pattern is pretty simple. I’ve attached a photo of one. The slot where the train is would be something more girlish since the 2 stockings are for girls and, of course, we’d have a different name. Otherwise, it would be the same as the one pictured.
Can you direct me to some people who would be interested in knitting these for me?
