New May Classes

We've listed some new beginning knitting classes for May on our calendar page. Remember, we are happy to book a class on any topic for a group looking for some late spring or summer knitting fun! We also offer individual private lessons if you'd like to try your hand at something but would like some one-on-one help! Just give us a call!

We're looking forward to the classes with our new teacher, Patricia, coming up later this month and in May--you can read about them on the calendar link, as well.

Chicks with Sticks on April 12

Due to people leaving town or being busy for the upcoming holiday weekend, there will be no official Chicks with Sticks on Wednesday, April 12. However, if there's interest in hanging out at the Hole in the Wall or Starbucks, there are a couple of Chicks who would be happy to be part of that! Just post a comment if you are interested.

Don't forget, lots of fun classes are coming up, including beginning knitting, sock classes, and the long-awaited doggie sweater class, so check the site and phone in to sign up!

Congratulations!

We recently presented the winner of our First Anniversary Celebration $100 gift certificate with her prize. Her quote was that she "felt like Miss America" when she heard that she won! Here's a photo of Pat handing over the exciting prize. Our winner went home to contemplate what to select from our wide variety of yarns and accessories, and we hope to see her again soon for a spending spree!

Yes, more yarns are in this week. Once again the Cascade Wall is restocked, and there are some new colors, including a delicious blueberry shade. We also have new and different Noro yarns, including Silk Garden Light. The Wall of Noro (right next to the Cascade Wall) is very full of beautiful new and familiar shades, ready for that felted purse class you have been wanting to take!
